A customer of us gets the windows eventlog message

soap.tcp Message Receive Failure: Microsoft.Web.Services3.Messaging.Framing.FramingFormatException: WSE352: The size of the record urn:uuid:c772d3d8-2880-4f4a-b8f5-9f78869b4c09 exceed its limit. The current record has 5245113 bytes, and the current limit for one record is 5245113. bei Microsoft.Web.Services3.Messaging.Framing.FramingRecord.UpdateTotalBytesRead(Int32 bytesRead) bei Microsoft.Web.Services3.Messaging.Framing.FramingRecord.ReadHeader() bei Microsoft.Web.Services3.Messaging.Framing.FramingRecord..ctor(Stream stream, Int32 maxRecordLength) bei Microsoft.Web.Services3.Messaging.Framing.FramingReader.ReadRecord() bei Microsoft.Web.Services3.Messaging.SoapMtomFormatterWithFraming.Microsoft.Web.Services3.Messaging.ISoapFormatter.Deserialize(Stream stream) bei Microsoft.Web.Services3.Messaging.SoapTcpConnection.DeserializeMessage() bei Microsoft.Web.Services3.Messaging.SoapTcpConnection.EndReceive(IAsyncResult ar) bei Microsoft.Web.Services3.Messaging.SoapTcpTransport.OnReceiveComplete(IAsyncResult ar)

very often. They came nearly all 16 seconds. The current record size increase with 686 bytes from one entry to the next. The event log entries occurs although there is definitely no client running. We implement the WSE 3.0 as a TCP-server in a windows service.

I know WCS is obsolet, but nevertheless our software is designed with it and I need a solution.

How can I avoid this message? I read something about web.config or app.config with a parameter maxRequestLength. Can you, please, render it more precisly?

Regards

Andreas
